About Community	English (USA)
community@lawrencesustainability.net is a private discussion list created to enhance general communication and planning amongst friends and affiliates of Lawrence Sustainability Network. As our network grows, this resource will play an important role in keeping us informed of news, opportunities and events related to sustainable living in our area. The Lawrence Sustainability Network's goal is to jointly develop community sustainability in all of its forms, which very importantly includes demonstrating a spirit of cooperation, sensitivity to others, flexibility and open sharing. We believe that establishing this kind of atmosphere on the LSN listserve will not only help to greatly accelerate the manifestation of our group goals, but can also serve as an example for the greater community. We ask that all listserve participants agree to: *Minimize personal business promotion or self-promotion in posts to the group. *Encourage a spirit of mutual respect in all posts, keeping in mind how the wording of our posts may adversely affect another or even the whole group. If a given member repeatedly ignores these guidelines, they will be subject to having their listserve posting privileges withdrawn for a period of time. If they subsequently return to the listserve, yet continue to ignore the guidelines, they will be subject to a long-term loss of their posting privileges. Subscribing to Community
Subscribe to Community by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a private list, which means that the list of members is not available to non-members. Your email address:   Your name (real first & last name required):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be e-mailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription. You can always request a mail-back of your password when you edit your personal options. Once a month, your password will be emailed to you as a reminder.
